PRAYER
REQUESTS…
“When
you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father who is
unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward
you.”
(Matthew 6:6)
Pray for
wisdom, discernment and guidance for our church as we look to listen to
God and to make decisions about our future. Pray that God’s will would
be done and that we will be able to hear His voice amongst all the
‘busy-ness’ of church life.
Pray for
unity within our church, and with other churches in the area
Pray for
our leadership team – Jon, Liz, Pete, Paul, Jeremy, Julie and Jeanette
– that they will be equipped to do all that God asks of them and that
they will be protected from the work of the enemy.
Pray for the possible building project. Two significant grant applications
will be decided upon in the next few weeks – pray that God would be at
the heart of these decisions. Also pray for Jeremy, as he leads this
project.
Ask God
to show everyone connected with
Ludlow
Baptist
Church
what He wants us to do, both within the church and where we may live and
work. Pray that we will be able to balance the needs of the local area
with the fact that so many of us need to be witnesses elsewhere through
the week.
Pray for
the group planning to go to
Guyana
with Hope and A Future Trust. The trip has now had to be put back until
March 09, although there is a possibility that the kit donated will be
distributed in
Guyana
in March, and the group will not go until next October. Pray that the
group would not lose focus or enthusiasm. Pray that the necessary funding
would come through. And praise God for
the donations of kit already received.
Pray for
the recently started homegroups. Pray that they would be places where we
grow closer to God, and closer to one another. Pray that God would use
those small groups to build His Kingdom.
Please
pray for Patsy’s sister Joanie, who is undergoing more treatment.
Please
pray for Tony and Jayne Graham, as they prepare for the birth of their
second child in January.
Please
pray for Helen and Chris Braden, as they prepare for the birth of their
fourth child in March.
Please
pray for Lucy Elvin, Kath Roberts, Joy Jones and Vi Lewis. Please pray
also for Jan Henson, who has been ill recently.
Please
pray for Peter and Ceinwen, who are not able to attend church as often as
they would like. Pray that they would continue to know God’s peace and
God’s blessing.
